Overview
The exhibitor booth design challenge
The objective was to create a striking, professional exhibitor booth design for a trade fair in Turkey that reflected innovation, precision, and reliability. The brand operates in precision measurement technologies — a technical B2B space where visual clarity and trust matter as much as product specs.
I led the full journey — from early sketches and stand zoning to print-ready large-format graphics and vendor handoff — so the stand communicated key messages clearly and delivered a smooth, informative visitor experience.
Tools used: Adobe Illustrator for vector grids and precise layouts, Canva for rapid exploration, and Photoshop for retouching and compositing. The output followed a consistent palette and typography system so the booth looked unified across all print and digital touchpoints.
Process
The exhibitor booth design process — concept to production.
1. Stand Zoning
Mapped visitor flow, entry points, and key message placement. Each zone was designed to guide attendees naturally through the product range while highlighting core value propositions at eye level.
2. Visual Hierarchy
Designed for distance readability, strong contrast, and scalable typography. Every panel was tested for legibility from multiple viewing distances under variable trade-show lighting conditions.
3. Production Masters
Created CMYK print files with precise DPI, bleeds, and panel alignment. Followed Adobe prepress best practices for colour accuracy across all surfaces.
4. Vendor Handoff
Delivered a clear file structure with practical installation notes, material considerations, and lighting-friendly contrast variations — so production teams could work efficiently without guesswork.
Deliverables
What this exhibitor booth design project included.
Stand zoning and message hierarchy to guide visitor flow and maximise visibility.
Modular grid with colour-coded categories that can scale to future trade show events.
Production masters with precise bleeds, CMYK profiles, DPI, and panel alignment.

Mockups and lighting-friendly previews to reduce production risk before printing.
Custom cabinet-door graphics and clear product-category labels for display units.
Results
Project outcomes and impact
The finished large-format graphics made the booth instantly recognisable and approachable, helping visitors understand complex product solutions faster. The modular system I built means the brand can reuse and adapt the design for future trade shows without starting from scratch.
This case study reflects end-to-end capability — from concept and structure to technically accurate print files — combining visual clarity with production precision for a consistent, high-impact trade-show presence.
The main challenge was balancing a strong brand presence with clear readability under variable trade-show lighting. I validated contrast and hierarchy, checked legibility from multiple viewing distances, and ensured the system stayed clean, structured, and practical for installation.
